#13 – Bluberry Scones

Right in time for blueberry season – these look awesome!


Blueberry Scones made with Date Syrup!

3 Cups of Flour
3/4 cup of cold butter cubed
1/4 cup Date Syrup
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup of dehydrated blueberries (you can use fresh ones as well)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup of buttermilk
Mix flour and butter well before adding the other ingredients. Roll dough out in a circle or two small circles, slice like a pizza to form triangles. Place on cookie sheet or hot stoneware. Brush with melted butter or heavy whipping cream and dust with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake @400 for 14-16 minutes in a regular oven
Bake @375 for 12-14 minutes in a convection oven
